Quality policy

Employees always strive for legal compliance and to improve quality, develop their skills, improve efficiency, provide products that satisfy customers, strengthen the company's credibility, and contribute to society through our business activities.

Environmental policy

■ Basic principle

Moricho Corporation is located on Awaji Island, an island park surrounded by ocean with largely untouched nature, and we have contributed to the creation of quality social assets and engaged in development alongside the community through marine and land civil engineering and building architecture based on the management principle of valuing people, nature, and the community environment.
However, business activities have various effects on the local environment, such as transforming nature, using resources and energy, generating waste, and polluting the ocean.
We consider the effects all of our business activities have on the environment, and we make efforts for conservation to help create a society that can develop sustainably and that supports co-existence between people and nature.

■ Basic policy

We promote the following environmental conservation activities based on the above basic principle.

1. Accurately understanding the effects that our business activities have on the environment, setting environmental goals and targets that are technically and economically feasible, and performing regular reviews while preventing pollution and continually improving our environmental management system and the results of our activities.
2. In addition to observing environmental laws, regulations, ordinances, and other requirements, also set independent standards to promote environmental conservation activities.
3. Sharing the above basic principle and policy with related parties and disclosing them internally and externally.

Safety and health policy

Respect for human life and safety above all else are our basic principles for a safe and comfortable working environment.

1. Employees work with related parties to independently perform safety and health activities.
2. We observe occupational safety and health laws as well as internal regulations and rules, and in cooperation with stores and workplaces, take measures according to the occupational health and safety management system (M/OHSMS).
3. We suitably perform risk assessments, take measures to prevent accidents, and strive to achieve zero work accidents.
4. We promote health and strive to maintain and improve a comfortable work environment.

We widely share this policy, and all employees take part and communicate to try and continually improve our safety and health standards.
